BRC was presented with the American Institute of Architects New York Chapter Andrew J. Thomas Pioneer in Housing Award, recognizing BRC’s contributions to the profession of architecture through its approach to funding and design-driven solutions for affordable housing.

BRC CEO and President, Muzzy Rosenblatt was selected by the Nonprofit Times for inclusion in the annual Power and Influence Top 50 highlighting leadership and innovation.

Drucker Prize for Nonprofit Innovation
BRC was one of 10 finalists for the Drucker Prize for Nonprofit Innovation, from among nearly 500 applications.
2015
New York Community Trust Nonprofit Excellence Awards
BRC was a winner of the New York Community Trust Nonprofit Excellence Award. The competition recognizes outstanding management practices of nonprofits in New York City, Long Island, and Westchester.
2010
Mutual of America
BRC was named a Merit Finalist Award Winner in recognition the outstanding work of BRC’s Transit Homeless Outreach program in reducing unsheltered homelessness the New York City transit system.
Lilly Reintegration Awards
BRC received first place honors in the housing category at the 2010 Lilly Reintegration Awards, granted by the Eli Lilly Foundation. BRC was selected from scores of applicants for the success of its Reception Center program in helping people living with a mental illness find and retain housing and reintegrate into the community.
